How would you briefly describe the scope of your CLM platform?
The scope of our CLM platform focuses on raising internal awareness about the contracts that have been executed, managing these contracts, and timely alerting individuals about their responsibilities and tasks related to these agreements. Specifically, as an offshore wind farm, this platform is crucial due to the extensive number of contracts (e.g. maintenance) involved, each with a substantial number of follow-up tasks.
In your view, what are the key success factors in your CLM implementation project?
The key to the success of our CLM implementation project lies in its integration within our contracting policy. As a result thereof, our legal team is now fully informed about all executed contracts, can track these contracts and ensure that all related tasks are completed on time.
In your view, what were the biggest constraints in your CLM implementation project?
The biggest constraint in our CLM implementation project was the setup phase. It is essential to carefully consider and plan ahead before moving forward with the implementation.
Looking at your CLM platform today, what is the greatest benefit from the CLM platform or what makes you love the CLM platform?
The greatest benefit of our CLM platform is the complete visibility we now have over all our contracts. We are always informed about the status of each contract and can easily follow up on them. Additionally, the platform provides a clear overview of contract expiration dates, allowing us to act proactively.
Looking at your CLM platform today, what would you like to change about the CLM platform?
Overall, we have no major concerns with the platform. Nevertheless, some small improvements enhancing user efficiency may be considered (e.g. at this moment, when navigating back to a previous page, the previously opened folders are again closed; it would be more efficient it these remain open).
If you could do it all over again and start implementing a new CLM platform today, what would you do differently?
If we could do it all over again, we would spend more time thinking through the set up. This would help prevent challenges down the line.
